It's important to recognize the folks who work hard behind the scenes to make the rock show happen and one of them is Memphis very own Ed Sargent. This music industry veteran who got his start working with legendary Canadian Jazz Trumpeter and bandleader Maynard Ferguson and now holds the title of Tour Manager for the Queen of Rock-n-roll herself Joan Jett. Pretty impressive! He's not home often so I figured I would have him drop by Memphis Made for a visit on his music history, working with Joan and some advice for up-and-coming bands and professionals trying to carve a similar path to his.
