Get to know Memphis own Mojo Medicine Machine by having a listen to my chat with Rick Ballenger and Motley Mattila from last weekend's Memphis Made. The two are veterans of music and were brought together by Memphis Music. The band's debut release Remedy for the Soul was recorded at legendary Royal Studios with the Grammy Award winning Producer/Engineer Lawrence Boo Mitchell. The album features a Memphis Music star studded cast including Steve Selvidge (guitar), Rev. Charles Hodges (B3) among many other notables. The next move for these guys is to take the new tunes outside of Memphis and garner attention for the tunes recorded in the best music city in the world.
