Mempho Music Fest is comin' right up on October 6th and 7th at Shelby Farms. I had a great chat with MMF Founder Diego Winegardener on last weekend's Memphis Made. You can't call a music fest "Mempho Music Fest" without including lots of incredible Memphis Made bands which Diego is certainly doing at the upcoming fest (Lineup below). This year's festival provides an opportunity for attendees to camp right out under the stars at Shelby Farms and Diego fills you in on all the details. Plus, he gives the low-down on why he is so passionate about Memphis and what inspired him to create a festival that showcases so much Memphis Music greatness. In addition, the festival showcases a number of causes including its own Mempho Matters with a program called Learn to Rock which provides donated tickets to teachers and students to be a part of it all.
